About Richard

For over a decade Richard has been one of the pioneers of modern travel art.

Raised in Bradford and now based near Richmond in North Yorkshire, he is a digital artist specialising in hand drawn, contemporary landscapes. Richard is inspired by classic twentieth century travel art and the beautiful scenery of his home county of Yorkshire and beyond.

A strong sense of place is extremely important to his work and although created digitally all his artwork is hand drawn, giving it a unique human element that compliments the clean, vivid style.

His award winning designs have featured internationally in books and magazines, large-scale art installations, promotional videos and advertising campaigns.

He sells his work as individually signed prints through his online shop and license them for use by companies such as Star Editions and Athena Art.
